HOLLOW CATHODE LAMPS

An extensive range of lamps is available in both single and multi element combinations in standard 1.5" (37mm) and 2" (50mm) diameters. The 37mm versions are fitted with a two pin octal base, while the 50mm lamps have a flying lead terminated with a standard M9 plug designed to fit directly into Perkin Elmer AA equipment. Dated coded versions are available which use a multi pinned octal base specific to the intended manufacturer.

R.M.S 37mm Hollow Cathode Lamps are suitable for most commercially available Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometers such as:

Baird Atomic, Beckman, Chemtech Analytical, Corning E.E.L. (Evans), Fisher Jarrell-Ash, G.B.C., Hitachi, Instrument Laboratory, Jenoptik, Unicam, Rank-Hilger, Scintrex, Shandon Southern, Shimadzu, Thermo Jarrell-Ash, Varian Techtron and Zeiss.

R.M.S 50mm Hollow Cathode Lamps are available for use with Perkin Elmer instruments.

R.M.S Data Coded Lamps are available in 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 elements.

R.M.S Multi Coded Lamps are available in 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 elements.

Warranty

When used within specified limits and in equipment of standard manufacture, R.M.S 37mm, 50mm and data coded lamps are warranted to emit spectra for a period of 24 months from date of dispatch or 5000mA hours usage, whichever occurs first.

Lamps are available in various envelope shapes with the emission window in the side wall, projecting from it or as an axial (or 'end-on') configuration. Additionally, the arc aperture can be made in different sizes either as a circle or slot to match the requirements of the original equipment manufacturer.

Warranty

R.M.S Deuterium Lamps are guaranteed to operate within the stated performance characteristics over the entire range of 200 - 370nm for a period of 6 months from the date of despatch or the number of hours shown below. This is a full replacement warranty but requires the lamp to be returned to Sentek for evaluation, post paid. Typical life is defined as the hours at which the lamp intensity falls to 50% of its original value at 280nm. Falling light levels will generally lead to increased noise, however, the point at which the lamp becomes unusable is specific to each application.
